I can’t even tell you how obsessed I am with this session. Words fail. Linsey and David are literally so genuinely in love. It’s unreal the way they look at each other. The laughs in these photos are 100% real. And we shared many laughs that evening. Linsey is one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. She has such a great sense of style, and she’s always going on cool adventures. I love her Instagram feed.
She reached out to me last year for some anniversary photos and I was so impressed with her attention to detail and her styling! I wanted to try some new stuff, so I reached out to her and David earlier this summer to see if they would model for me again! She sent me a few outfit ideas and we set up a date and time, and I literally couldn’t wait. We did their session by the lake, and IN the lake. Yup. We got in the water. Soaking our clothes in the lake is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do at my sessions. Don’t worry. Fall is practically here, so that’ll put an end to those. Too cold. But next summer, you better believe I’ll be getting in the water again.
I’m absolutely obsessed with this purple dress and that golden light. All I can say is, go extra for your photos! Buy that dress you’ve had your eye on, but had no reason to wear it. Wear those shoes you never wear anywhere else. Get your hair and make up professionally done! And be up for ANYTHING to get the photo. You will not regret the results.
