I was made for relationships. I love big, and I'm often told I feel too much. But it wasn't until i began capturing people, that I realized this has been my very strength all along. Because, what sets me apart, is that I actually care. I don't take a back seat on your wedding day. I will fluff your dress, hold your bouquet, bring you tissues, and always have hugs on deck. Your moments matter to me.
When I'm not capturing life's most beautiful moments - you can find me living life to the fullest with my husband, Todd, and our two amazing kids. I'm a "yes" woman and I believe in living authentically and pursuing multiple passions with fervor—because at the end of the day, I want to look back without regrets, knowing I've seized every moment to its fullest.
I'm a self-proclaimed plant mama, entry level homesteader, and part-time fixer upper. I quote way too many sit-coms (New Girl, Office, Friends, etc). I listen to true crime podcasts. I travel as much as my wallet allows, and when I can't cross state lines, I spend weekends with my family camping in our fully renovated camper by the lake.
More than anything, I love LOVE and I'm so blessed to call this passion of mine my career. It truly brings me so much joy capturing life's most special moments for all of you. I guess you could call me a professional hopeless romantic.

my reason why
As a kid, I remember watching home videos, and flipping through old photo albums, and craving more. Movies and books offered beautiful tales and romantic fantasies, but I longed for something real. And to be completely vulnerable, I grew up in a lot of chaos and dysfunction, where marriages didn't last. I longed for a tangible happily ever after, and I prayed for it every day.
I married my best friend at 19 years old, and we've spent over a decade loving each other in marriage. We have two beautiful children and they have grown like weeds. Watching them grow every day reminds me of how important these moments are and how fleeting life is. I take every photograph I can, and I dream of telling them stories one day about our love and our life. This is my happily ever after, and I don't want to miss a second or take any of it for granted.
I'm one of the lucky ones - God has blessed me beyond all measure. And I'm so grateful that His plans are for me, and better than mine ever could be. I thank Him every day that He set me apart for greater things. Photography has become a way for me to remember the most important things. The emotions I've felt and the places I've been. The things He's taught me, and the ways he's changed me. Through every session, I hope and pray that I'm glorifying Him, and leaving a beautiful legacy for future generations - yours and mine. I know how important my moments are to me, so it's a joy to capture yours for you.
