These are the soul-stirring moments I strive to capture for you. As a mother of two littles, I deeply understand how fleeting these moments are to you, mama. While many little girls dreamed of their wedding day, I dreamed of being a wife and mom. I adore my precious little ones faces just as you adore yours. Whether you're expecting a new addition to the family or celebrating the eldest heading off to college, when you hire me to capture these precious memories, of course, you'll be left with beautiful photos you’ll hang on your wall - each one a happy reminder of the family you've lovingly built and the deep connections you share. After you land in my inbox, we set up a time to chat over the phone. I love to do phone calls because I feel like they are so much more personable. It's a great time to go over details and make sure we are a good fit. When you're ready, we will finalize your package, sign your contract and pay your retainer. Then, let the planning begin!

After you've paid your retainer and signed your contract, we can start planning your session. We will get you scheduled on the calendar, and pick out a perfect location. I will give you all of my expertise on outfits, locations, posing and more. I will be there every step of the way.

My top priority is to encourage and create real moments that you are able to be truly present in. I will help direct you, and capture your family with my documentary style approach. We will probably move around a lot, especially if you have kiddos. We will shoot until I feel like we've captured plenty of beautiful memories.

Within a few days, I'll get you some sneak peeks to relive the highlights of your best day. About 4-6 weeks later, the rest of your photos will be delivered! From there, you can also download your photos to share them on social media or with friends and relatives. You can also order any prints and products!

For moms alone, with a partner, or the entire family! Maternity usually occurs between 34-36 weeks for first time moms, and sometimes earlier for non-first timers. Family sessions are limited based on availability during wedding season.

Hospital, home, birthing center - whatever your choice, I'll be there to capture this incredible experience. No two births are alike, so we will work together to create a (flexible) plan for your birth coverage. I'll be on call from 37 weeks, ready for your little one to make their appearance.

Choose between a Fresh 48 at the hospital, or a lifestyle session at my Studio or in the comfort of your own home. Fresh 48's occur within the first 48 hours at the hospital. Lifestyle sessions are done within the first 4 weeks.

I'm in Leavenworth KS, and my studio space is here as well! But I also shoot in several locations around the Kansas City area. Places like Shawnee Mission Park, Loose Park, West Bottoms, Smithville Lake, and more. I'm also available to come to your home or travel out of state. Travel fees are dependent on where you want to shoot. If you have a specific spot in mind, I'm always open to suggestions! I even travel out of state, and internationally. So if you're going on a family vacation and want to bring me along to capture the adventures, I'd love to be a part of it.
I know how stressful planning a family session can be. And when the weather gets involved, it makes it even worse. So I offer the flexibility for rescheduling at no cost to you! Keep in mind, rescheduling during busy seasons may result in limited availability. However, as long as there's no lightning, we can still have a beautiful shoot! I'd love to capture windblown hair, rosy cheeks, and the joy on your children's faces as they splash in some puddles!
I am confident in my abilities to capture amazing photos, even when kids are having off days. This is why my style and approach leans more documentary. We let your kiddos take the lead. If they aren't giving smiles and would rather snuggle, we go for a moody cuddles vibe. If they don't want to be held or wear shoes, we run around barefoot! The most helpful thing you can do, is RELAX and embrace the chaos. The most beautiful pictures are the ones where you are truly interacting your children and their beautiful spirits and personalities.
I don't set a specific amount, as every session is different! I average anywhere from 20-100 photos per hour, and I usually deliver more than 100 photos in most galleries. Turn around times vary depending on busy seasons, but I usually deliver galleries within 4 weeks. I know you'll go crazy waiting to see your photos, but I promise the wait will be worth it!
